Larry Blyden

Larry Blyden only made one appearance on The FBI, but it was in one of the very best, “The Innocents,” in 1970. Mr. Blyden, a childhood friend of actor Rip Torn, was a rabid collector of antiquities. He often travelled to the fartherest corners of the world in pursuit of a find. This led to his , Blyden was investigating just such a dig in Morocco when he was killed in an automobile accident at the age of 49. Because there was no identification on the body, his family did not learn of the tragedy for several days afterward.
Mr. Blyden, who was married from 1955 to 1962, ended up a full-time parent in 1964 when his former wife died. He is survived by a son and daughter.
